About me

Hi reader! I am Thomas, a PhD student at McGill University in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mila - Quebec AI Institute. I am supervised by Prof. Narges Armanfard.

My research is on developing deep learning algorithms and foundation models for time series analysis with a focus in anomaly detection. I work on both AI-focused projects and application-driven research in areas such as brain signal analysis for epilepsy and industrial automation.

I completed my B.Eng. in Bioengineering at McGill University in 2023 and began an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering before fast-tracking to the PhD program. I expect to graduate in 2028 and am seeking internship opportunities in 2027. I’m happy to connect via LinkedIn or email at “thomasl.ai711” (at) “gmail.com”.
